About me
I am a Vienna based artist, illustrator, passionate teacher and bumble bee lover. Originally from Styria, which taught me to appreciate beauty of life. I take my inspiration from objects that have stories of their own and have value to my art.
Having moved on temporarily from formal education, which includes: a Masters in ‘Media and Communication studies’ and studying for a Bachelors in ‘art and design’ at the ‘Emily Carr Art and Design University’ in Vancouver, Canada. I am now building on this experience to produce works of art that speak to my heart and that enable people to feel its joy.
I love to turn my hand to any medium. But at the moment the vast majority of my pieces are illustrations for stationary. While at the same time I am exploring the possibilities of materials as varied as ceramic, papermache and of course weathered wood.
